How to Fix Website Access Issues?
Windows Version
Method 1: Flush DNS Cache
1. Open Command Prompt (Run as Administrator) or press "Win" and R, enter "cmd"
2. Then enter:
ipconfig /flushdns
This clears outdated DNS records.
Method 2: Change Public DNS
1. Go to: Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center
2. Click Change adapter settings
3. Right-click your active network → Properties
4. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) → Properties
5. Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter: Preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8 and Alternate DNS: 1.1.1.1
6. Click OK to save.
Method 3: Reset Network Settings
1. Open Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced network settings
2. Scroll down → Click Network reset
3. Click Reset now, then restart your computer.
MacOS Version
Method 1: Refresh DNS Cache
1. Open Terminal and run:
sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
2. Enter your password and press Enter to clear cached DNS data.
Method 2: Change Public DNS
1. Go to: Apple Menu → System Settings → Network
2. Select your network → Details → DNS
3. Add: 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare DNS)
4. Click OK to apply.
Method 3: Reset Network Settings
1. Go to: In System Settings → Network:
2. Click … (bottom-left)
3. Choose Create Location
4. Give it a name → Done
The new location loads default settings.
